Include the app version, device model, operating-system version, and steps that show the problem. Do not include sobriety backups, medical details, or screenshots containing personal records.

Update or correct a record

Choose “Update last drink” on Today. Earlier periods remain in your history. For a historical date or correction, open the month ribbon to Journey and choose the date. Immediate Undo is a shortcut; records remain editable in Journey.

Backup and restore

Use Settings to export your data through the system share sheet. A backup contains private history, so choose its destination carefully. Restore replaces your current history instead of merging it. Keep an export of the current data if you need it later.

If a file is rejected, your current data is unchanged. Do not edit the backup by hand to force it to load. If local data cannot be read, use the app’s recovery options; erasing data is permanent for that installation.

Privacy Lock

Privacy Lock uses the unlock methods available on your device. If authentication is unavailable, check the device’s passcode or biometric settings. Safety & Support remains available from the locked screen. Privacy Lock hides the interface; it does not encrypt stored records.

Timers, widgets, and alerts

On Android, enable the ongoing timer in Settings and allow notifications when asked. Anniversary alerts are optional and off by default. On iOS, add a JustSober widget through the system widget gallery. Choose Standard or Discreet system-surface privacy in the app.
